Question: Abortions!?!?!?
Why do people feel diferant about abortons and the mornong after pill!?
This is a serious question!.
The morning after pill and early stage abortion through taking a drug, is pretty much the same!.
But when you see on a pregnancy test that you are carrying a child!. Well that just changes everything!.
I don't want people on my question posting against abortions!.

I think people feel differently about it because if you take the morning after pill you are not killing anything, you are taking a pill that changes your body so that pregnancy cant happen, so all you are doing is stopping an egg being fertilised!.
However when you are pregnant, like as you said if you see it on a test that you are pregnant and you have an abortion, you know that you are stopping what would become a baby, and an abortion is worse to go through than just taking a pill!

I suppose it's because you take the morning after pill within 72 hours of having sex so you prevent a pregnancy!. What I mean is you don't think you could be pregnant but take it just in case!. I have taken the morning after pill a couple of times, but I wouldn't even consider haveng an abortion!.!.!.I have 4 beautiful children!. I have never even made the connection between the morning after pill and abortion!. You have given me somrthing to ponder over!. I do think the pill is better if it means less later term abortions though!. IWww@Answer-Health@Com
Maybe they think that the morning after pill is a contraception, and therefore preventative, (it is also referred to as emergency contraception, for instace), as opposed to an abortion which is a procedure used after you are definately pregnant!.
I think it's weird to differenciate too!. It is a complicated issue, especially with late term abortions!.

the morning after pill is not the same as an early stage abortion drug!. the morning after pill is taken, literally, the morning/day after!. this is to PREVENT a pregnancy when it is not even known if a pregnancy has taken place, but there is cause for concern e!.g!. contraception failure!.

Taking the morning after pill is very very different!. The foetus if at all has had hardly any time to develop!. Abortions happen well after the foetus has had time to develop!. A pregnancy test will only show you are pregnant 4 weeks + after conception by measuring the level of pregnancy hormone in your urine!. By the time an abortion is done the foetus is more developed!. Limbs start appearing from week 5 and by week 13 has fingers and toes!. The process of an abortion is horrendous!. So there is a huge difference!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had a dilemma when i was pregnet with my youngest child i found out i was pregnent and was dexerstaed! (as already had 3) my youngest child (at the time of me finding out was pregnent agian) was only months old!
I considered having an abortion but could not go through with it as i knew i wouldnt be able to live with myself for killing my child and my other childrens sibling
People feel ifferent because of the guilt the would have to live with (in my opinion)

hi there, some people feel different as they think they are doing wrong!.trust from experience i had my first child at 17 she was 27wks prem and a month after giving birth i got caught preg again whilst on the mini pill!. i had a termination a few weeks later even though it upset me to do it, it was for the best at that time!. just 2wks ago i had my second child who was also prem but by c-section and im now 20!.
My advice is they are not always a bad thing even though people have there own opinions at the end of the day its only the person going through that perdicament that can make there decision!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suppose it could be the fact that when you take to morning after pill theres less chance of you being pregnant as generally the sperm hasnt met the egg yet and what the morningafter pill doees is create so much mucus it stops them meeting each other!.

wow you arent very knowledable if u say the morning after pill is an abortion!. look it up, morning after pill is a strong dose of a normal birth control pill!. it keeps the woman from releasing an egg in the first place!. if the woman is pregnant the morning after pill wont change anything!. Because with the morning after pill there is still a chance that you are not pregnant!. It can stop fertilisation occurring, in the same way that the pill and condoms can do, rather than terminating something that has already occurred!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
