Ok, so the first day I got it, I was at school, and it was really light, like I could only tell I had my period when I wiped, so I was gonna give it a day, then tell my mom the next day after I figured out a way to tell her!. So when she came home, I was sitting down, and I got up when my mom walked through the door!. Suddenly out of no where, she was like, "Are you OK!? You look different", and I was like OMG, she can tell, so I was like, "I'm fine" and she said "Oh OK" well suddenly, I felt compelled to tell her, so I was all "Hey mom, guess what happened today!? I got my period! Yay!" (Sarcasticly of course) And she was like, "OMG, I knew something was different, congrats I guess"
Then we went to dinner without my dad, and yeah, that's it!
My mom and I have a really great relationtship, so it wasn't that hard!. I had her tell my dad, when I wasn't around, and If she didn't he probably figured it out, because I had it when we went to Disneyland!.!.!.so yeah! Don't worry, she knows what your going through, and she will only want to help!

My mom was off on a business trip the day I started mine and I called her up to tell her but she didn't answer so I left her a message and when I got home she was beaming at me and waiting with chocolates!. She was overly-excited, though it is a big deal because her little girl is "growing-up!" bleh!.
