Women only please - Have you ever got your period near your wedding?!

Actually had it on the way back home from the honeymoon which was no picnic, as I had a flu bug at the same time- this was on a ship, and luckily I don't get seasick LOL The best thing I used at the time was Insteads since at the time I could not prevent it!. There is however a way to prevent your period if you aren't currently on the pill!. This would be with a medication called norithisterone, but this needs to be started at least four days before your period is due!. Insteads are a menstrual cup that can safely be left in place for up to 12 hours!. You can read more about them here

sorry i was pregnant when i got married-- i don't know how close you are to your wedding date, but you can try the pill, but it takes a little while to get in your system-- but you can also have break through bleeding on the pill-- just be safe and wear a pad even if you aren't on your period-- if you are double up- a pad and tampon-- good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

tampon and or theres like a womens cup similar to the diva cup that holds it in and you can have sex on certain ones as well as explaining it to your new hubby and still have sex but in the shower since you dont bleed as bad

PLEASE dont take birth control just for this is really REAlly bad on ur body just think your making herself think its pregnant not very good plus under the gown and all that if its poofy you can wear a tampon and pad just incase you leak or whatever for the night thing dont worry about most guys dont mind and its ur hubby he will love u no matter whatWww@Answer-Health@Com

The only way to stop it is to get on the pill about a week before your wedding!. Take the pill religiously, around the same time each day and it will delay your cycle!. Once you are ready for it to come, stop taking the pill and it'll come a week or so later!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor can give you some tablets which you take a few days before and every day until the wedding is over!. Your period starts then!. I have used them a few times with no problems and they have no side effects just stop your period!. You are free to enjoy your day then!. Cant remember what they are called but your dr will know!. if you are on the pill you can keep taking it even if your due your period!. then when all the honeyymooning and wedding has passed make sure you give yourself that week off!. then just go back to normal!. hope that helps!. Good luck on your big day xWww@Answer-Health@Com
