Using pads for discharge, is it bad for you?!

Question: Using pads for discharge, is it bad for you!?
I am a very hormornal girl, I can't deny it!. Breakouts, bacteria/yeast infections, longer, heavier periods, and lots of discharge!. Because I'm naturally hormornal, my doctor tells me that is why I have daily discharge in!.!.!.not exactly large amounts but more then average!. I have so much that I have to wear at least a liner pad everyday, 24/7!. Without it, I'd be soaked!. However, my friend told me that it isn't good to always wear pads!. She said that I need to breath down there!. Is this true!? Should I take off the pads at night!? Taking off pads during the day doesn't seem like an option, because of the amount that I give off!. (And no, I'm NOT thinking of something to make me discharge, it's a natural thing)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Wearing pads isn't a great idea because they hold the discharge close to you body and can become breeding grounds for bacteria - which will cause nasty infections!. Wearing the pads could also be a factor in your frequent yeast infections!.
Your 'girly bits' DO need to breathe!. Taking the pads off at night would be ideal!.
Just try to change them frequently during the day!. And use liners instead of pads because with them be so much thiner -- it allows more air to flow through*Www@Answer-Health@Com

It isn't exactly bad for you, it might hurt after a while, seeing as the pad might rub against you and it gets a little uncomfortable, think of it a bit like nappy rash but seriously if its not hurting you then it should be fine, when your showering etc then let down there breathe a little!.!.!.

good luck hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

well, if you feel that you can go the night w/o one without soaking yourself, than do!. because you do need to breathe, but i dont think that any serious health problems will occur if you do wear them all the time!. i think the worst thing that could happen is a heat rash!. just make sure to wear cotton undies!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would wear one during the day and then not use one at night and wear breathable panties that don't "trap" the moisture down there!. Just like you wouldn't wear wet socks all day long with shoes, the same goes for other parts of your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah "IT" does need to breath! so try to wear 100%cotton undies to help with the breathingWww@Answer-Health@Com

it sounds like u need a second opinion! u shouldn't be having that much discharge!Www@Answer-Health@Com
