Answers:
Some people consider abortion to be murder based on when they consider "LIFE" to begin!. Some people believe "life" begins at conception; others believe "life" begins at birth, while others still believe "life" begins somewhere in between conception and birth!.

If you believe that "life" begins at conception, then you could easily believe that abortion ~ the termination of a pregnancy after conception ~ is murder, since you would be ending what you consider to be the "life" of a living being!. However, other people would argue that, since that "living being" cannot survive on it's own outside the womb for another several months, technically it is not "alive", so you're not "killing" anything!. If a fetus cannot survive independent of it's mother, is it really something we can consider to be an independent life!?

This cuts to the heart of the abortion issue, and why there are so many heated debates on the subject!. Depending on where you stand regarding when life actually begins, you might just believe that terminating a pregnancy is equal to pulling out a gun and killing someone in cold blood!. To me, it is far more complex than that!. If I were to pull out a gun and shoot someone at a convenience store ~ someone who had lived 20 or 30 years of their life, was self-aware and a contributing member of society ~ that is murder!. Terminating a pregnancy before the fetus is recognizable as a human being, before it's life can be sustained outside of the womb independent of it's mother, is not murder -- that "being" is not self-aware, it has no knowledge that it exists!. How then can it know that it has died!?

In my opinion, Abortion is now more an issue of Women's Health!. In the old days, before Abortion was legal, women used to turn to "back alley butchers"; people who would try to scrape out the growing fetus with bent coat hangers and other mocked-up "tools"!. Unless we want women to return to the days where they are dying in back alleys trying to get abortions, we need to keep the procedure legal and regulated!. That's the only way to keep it safe and up-to-date with the best medical technology!. Women are not disposable commodities that can be tossed away if they die!. Women are important to this world, this planet!.

The way things stand now, they are already changing the laws enough to where they are outlawing "late-term abortions", what some people call "partial-birth abortions"!. I'm against this ban, because they make no provisions for what happens if the mother's life is in jeopardy!.

What the law says now, is that if the mother's life is in jeopardy ~ if the mother is going to DIE by giving birth to this baby ~ the doctor has no choice but to look at the baby's father and say, "Too Bad!. Your wife has to die; I am not allowed to save her life!. The baby will be fine, and the baby is more important than your wife!. Your wife must be allowed to die so the baby can live!." Who has the right to tell someone that!? Who has the right to tell a mother she has to die to give birth!? That's not fair!. You can always have another child; you can't always find another person to love!.

Does that answer your question!?

You don't have to have an abortion yourself to be in favor of abortion rights!. You just have to be in favor of women being in charge of their own bodies and having the right to decide whether or not they live or die, themselves!.

im not sure i understand completly what your asking but i think you mean why do people say its murder and all that!?!?

the thing is, some people have different views and they can change all the time!. for example young people and others may say its fine to have an abortion, it was a mistake, etc etc!.!.!.!.which is fine!.!.but i also understand why some people get so worked up over it i mean imagine if you were a husband and wife trying for years to have a baby how frustrating it would be for them to know that there are teenagers having abortions to babys they dont want!. when they cant even have one wen they do want it!.

you have to see both sides of it!. i used to think it was ok, i mean yes everyone makes mistakes but i heard a saying once that actually makes a lot of sense!.!.!.
if you think your mature and grown up enough to have sexual intercourse then you should be mature and grown up enough to have a baby!.
Sex is for making babies!.!.!.yes its fun and all tooo but its the main purpose otherwise there wouldnt be so many forms of ways to STOP pregnancy!. if you dont want a baby but want to have sex!.!.there are a MILLION ways to prevent it!.!.

im not juding anyone!. but i do think if you got pregnant and you knew you couldnt raise the child for whatever reason, you should at least have it and put it up for adoption so that those who realy want a child can have a special gift!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just because something is legal doesn't mean it's right!. that's the difference between law and morality!.

these things are legislated in order to control it, but really it is to decriminalize the activity and hence it is permissible!. hence the term pro-choice!.

Most people don't care about right or wrong these days and are happy to commit murder if having a baby is inconvenient for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on your belief system!. Personally I don't think it's murder as long as it's done very early on!. But some people believe that you are killing life or potential life!. Another example is that suicide is illigal but in some states they have assited suicide so that if you have a really painful terminal illness you can die peacefully!. (I hope they don't get rid of that)!. But it just depends on your own personal morals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

actually abortion mean to abort, ie to stop!. not murder!. its stopping a pregnancy!. that being said, its not murder, think about it this way, if the fetus could survive on its own then you wouldnt need to be pregnant, they could just remove it!. but they cannot force you to do something with your body that you dont want to!. especially something life threatening!. pregnancy is very straining on the body, and sometimes!. results in death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They ((the government)) don't see it as muder, but killing something that was never alive to begin with!. Which, is a lie!.
A baby is a baby, no matter how small!. It is a living thing!.!.!. and if it is not!.!.!. why kill it!?! You can not kill something that isn't alive!
And most of the people that i have seen have abortion, are under aged and unmarried!. And I sugjest that if you are either one ((or both)) then you should not go out and have "playtime" with your bf in the first place!!!!
btw, i am 13!.!.!. I will NEVER HAVE ABORTION!!! IT IS MURDER!Www@Answer-Health@Com

because its killing the fetus inside of a woman!. its wayyyy worse when the do 5 month abortions!. i had to watch one in a class im taking!. its all horrible!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

abortion means to kill!. killing a baby is murder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is legal murder, just like the death penaltyWww@Answer-Health@Com

it depends in your belief, if you are against or pro abortion!.

first and overview, an abortion is the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death!. the spontaneous expulsion of a fetus or embryo before the 20th week of gestational age is commonly known as a miscarriage!. Induced abortion is the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus by medical, surgical, or other means at any point during human pregnancy for therapeutic or elective reasons!. The approximate number of induced abortions performed worldwide in 2003 was 42 million!.

Throughout recorded history, abortion has been induced by various traditional medicine methods, including botanical abortifacients, the use of sharpened tools, and abdominal pressure!.

The moral and legal aspects of abortion are subject to intense social debate in many parts of the world!. Aspects of this debate can include the public health impact of unsafe or illegal abortion as well as legal abortion's effect upon crime rates, and the ramifications of sex-selective practices!. Other debates include the abortion-breast cancer hypothesis, post-abortion syndrome, and fetal pain!. Moral arguments often equate abortion to murder, or denial of abortion to oppression of women!.

The history of modern Western abortion laws can be traced back to English common law, which allowed abortion before the "quickening" of the fetus!. Currently, abortion law varies from country to country, with regard to religious, moral, and cultural sensibilities!.

In the history of abortion, induced abortion has been the source of considerable debate, controversy, and activism!. An individual's position on the complex ethical, moral, philosophical, biological, and legal issues is often related to his or her value system!. Opinions of abortion may be best described as being a combination of beliefs on its morality, and beliefs on the responsibility, ethical scope, and proper extent of governmental authorities in public policy!. Religious ethics also has an influence upon both personal opinion and the greater debate over abortion (see religion and abortion)!.

Abortion debates, especially pertaining to abortion laws, are often spearheaded by advocacy groups belonging to one of two camps!. In the United States, most often those in favor of greater legal restrictions on, or even complete prohibition of abortion, describe themselves as pro-life while those against legal restrictions on abortion describe themselves as pro-choice!. Both are used to indicate the central principles in arguments for and against abortion: "Is the fetus a human being with a fundamental right to life!?" for pro-life advocates, and, for those who are pro-choice, "Does a woman have the right to choose whether or not to continue a pregnancy!?"

In both public and private debate, arguments presented in favor of or against abortion focus on either the moral permissibility of an induced abortion, or justification of laws permitting or restricting abortion!. Arguments on morality and legality tend to collide and combine, complicating the issue at hand!.

Debate also focuses on whether the pregnant woman should have to notify and/or have the consent of others in distinct cases: a minor, her parents; a legally-married or common-law wife, her husband; or a pregnant woman, the biological father!. In a 2003 Gallup poll in the United States, 79% of male and 67% of female respondents were in favor of spousal notification; overall support was 72% with 26% opposed!.

There are countries where in abortion is legal and in some, it is not!. In some countries still, it is still very taboo to talk about abortion or even pre marital sex!. In some countries who find abortion legal, anyone who wnats the baby out can get an abortion, but in some cases, like in the Philippines where abortion is a big NO, people still do abortion but in private clinics (illegal) or just drink medicine!. It is called murder because it is killing an unborn child!. It becomes legal on whatever reason they attached into it why they want it to become legal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
