when i shave my vagina, i get ingrown hairs which hurt!. how do i avoid this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

After I started to shave my vulvar (the vagina is on the inside of the body) area-the external genital area I had issues with ingrown hairs as well and pimples that I had to have my doctor deal with!. In the end though my doctor told me to stop shaving as it was going to cause more ingrown hairs and to trim them with a pair of scissors!.
Make sure to put some kind of moisturizer on the areas after you shave!. That should help deal with some of the ingrown hairs but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
