DEPO-PROVERA; ejaculation. NO HATERS!?!

Question: DEPO-PROVERA; ejaculation!. NO HATERS!!?
okay so ive been on the DEPO-PROVERA since October of 2006 & i was off of it just recently from DECEMBER 31,2007-MAY 14,2008[<-i qot my injection on that day] i know that with proper use only about one out of 100 will get pregnant!. so im wondering what are the chances of pregnancy AFTER the 2 week time frame!? [if you dont know what im talking about when i say the 2 week time frame dont answer this question] BECAUSE i asked about FOUR DIFFERENT doctors at the place i go to and they said that AFTER the 2 week time frame it was the couples choice whether to use condoms AND whether or not he ejaculates in me as well!. [MY CASE ONLY B/C ME AND MY MAN HAVE BEEN TESTED AND HES NOT GONNA CHEAT ON ME!.] i dont need anyones bullshit if your just gonna answer the question like "well u need to use condoms anyway prevention stds blah blah" THATS NOT THE ANSWER TO MY QUESTION!!
re-cap;
can he ejaculate in me after the 2 week time frame!?
what are my chances of pregnancy !?
i heard that semen is good4u!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been on depo since I got married in 1998!. I decided to go off of it because we were getting close to wanting a baby and I knew that it could take up to a year to have your period again!. Well, I got off the shot, had my period the next month, and then I was pregnant the following month! But 3 years later, I got off the shot expecting it to happen that fast and it didn't!. It took 6 months for my period to come back and then it took me about 9 months to get pregnant this time!.

To answer your question, I was always told to use extra protection during those 2 weeks because it COULD happen!. We never did (unless you count the pull-out method) and everything was fine!. I think a lot of it would depend if you resumed your period from December to May while you were off of it!. If you did start having it again, you were ovulating each month and would have a higher chance of being pregnant after just getting back on!. If you had never started having any periods, I'd say its highly unlikely you would get pregnant in that 2 week time frame!. So I would say you're fine! (Unless you were hoping for a pregnancy, which I doubt since you got back on depo in the first place!)

Oh, and to answer your other question, I have taken just about every anatomy and physiology, health, etc class for my college degree and I've never heard about semen providing nutrients for you, although I guess anythings possible! I was always told that your body knows its a different source and tries to fight it like a foreign invader so to speak!. But I do remember one of my professors telling us that if you are on a diet and trying to lose weight, don't swallow! She said semen was full of calories!. I think that was the grossest thing a prof ever told me and I remember thinking I could have gone my whole life and not needed to hear her say that!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should be all right!. If you're uncomfortable with it (which it really sounds like you are), you can use some extra protection, whether it's a condom, vaginal contraceptive film, or you can see if there's a spermicidal lubricant out there!.
And there's always the itty bitty chance you'll get pregnant, but it's very small when you're using birth control right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well he can ejaculate in you, but no matter what birth control there is always a risk of pregnacy!. Of course the risk is dramatically less than no-birth control at all!. Your chances of pregnancy are low!. But nothing is 100%!. So call it BS if you want but using protection is always the best way to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your chance of being pregnant is pretty low I think because went I went off depo, and did not get pregnant for almost two years!. My doctor said the drug is active for a few months after the date that you should have gone to get the next shot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was on depo for 3 yrs!. and i got pregnant about 4 months ago!. the doctors said they didn't know how it happend since i was on it for that long!.!.!. REMEMBER birth control is not 100% affective!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
