Question: What do i ( girls only )!?
what do i do to prepare for a first period!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
go shopping! at a drugstore!. buy pantiliners, regular pads, and heavy flow/overnight pads!. also get advil [or any ibuprofen] for cramps and maybe some tampons if you think you will want to use them!. make sure you have a hot water bottle at home [you probably do but if not than pick one of those up too] for cramps as well!. if you want you could always buy one of those books about going through puberty, like 'the body book for girls' or something!. maybe talk to your mom about it too, if you're close to her and feel comfortable talking about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay!. I got my first period when I was 11 and 1/4 (2 years ago)!. I suggest having a spare pad and tampon in your school bag and in your handbag!. It doesn't matter if you don't because you can ask a friend who already has theirs or the school nurse!. It really depends on your age!. I would definately talk to your mum about weather your comfortable or not because you usually get your period about the same time as your mum but not in all casses as both my mum and grandma got theirs at 13!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

nothing really, just make sure you have pads at home and i personally crave milk and chocolate so i have that at home!. so if you know you crave chocolate buy some!. don't be too worried, you'll be fine!. if you get pain buy some tylenol ahead of time, and if you get bad cramps take it!. you might want to carry around a few pads in your bag, and the nurse at school should have them too, so you shouldn't worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I had my first period more than 36 years ago, I didn't really do anything!. I remember how hysterical my older sister had been when she first got hers a few years earlier and I didn't want to repeat that!. What I did was sneak pads from my mother and didn't tell her about it until several weeks later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get your mom to give you some pads (or tampons if you prefer) and stuff them in your handbag!. Or you can sneak in your mom's room and get some (that's what I did lol)!. Pads can be sooooooo uncomfortable!. They feel like diaper lol!. But I used them anyways cuz tampons or menstrual cups are not available in my country and I don't know why!. They only sell pads!. But if you don't like the 'I'm-wearing-a-diaper" feel and you're not ready for tampons, get the super thin pads from laurier!. They're 2mm in thickness if I'm not mistaken!. They feel less like diaper!. lol

FYI: the re-usable menstrual cups & the re-usable pads are always the greatest choice since they're friendly to the environment and healthier!. oh yea! the lunapads have this kits for beginners and they're so pretty! they're great!

Its always good to know that the menstrual cups will lessen your cramps (if you get cramps cuz I don't get cramps)!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

make sure you have pads or tampons, whichever you feel most comfortable with!. have advil or midol, maybe a heating pad in the house in case you get cramps!.!.!.besides that there's not much you can do to prepare!.!.!.!.it happens when it happens!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first thing I would tell you to do is wear a pantyliner everyday and carry a pad in your purse all the time so when the time comes you are ready, nothing to worry!. Try thin pads, no need for super!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get tampons, pads, midol, or pamprin- cramps hurt like hell for some people so if you get bad cramps get a heating pad or something!. talk to your mom!. lol!. thats all i can think ofWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well if you have older sisters or a mom with pads near by know where they are at all times! And put a pad in your backpack!. Just in case :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
