You have to be relaxed!. Take some deep breaths and point it toward your back, not straight up toward the ceiling!. There should be very detailed instructions in the box!. Stop if it hurts!. Sometimes it takes several tries to get the hang of it!. Don't worry you'll get it!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

first off, don't insert tampons when you ARE NOT on your period, it hurts if you insert them when dry (i see some girls posting that)!. If this is your first time using tampons, try to use the smaller tampons when you are on your heavy days (until you get use to them) and make sure you insert them in all the way (insert them up to the finger grip part of the tampon)!. You will get the hang of it!. Also, if you are a virgin it might hurt a little!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are a virgin and your hymen is still in tact you should not be using tampons!. If you are not a virgin and it is still hurting, try using the plastic applicators and not the cardboard ones!.!.!.
I could not imagine using a lubricant to insert a tampon, that would just be gross with the fluid that is already there!.!.!.
Make sure you are using the right ones too, there are different ones for different flow levels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If this is your first time using a tampon, it could very well take several tries!. It's o!.k!.

First of all, when the tampon is properly in position, you won't feel a thing!. If you feel any discomfort whatsoever, it is not in position!.

When you insert the tampon, try gently adjusting the angle of it!. Do not force it!. Check out the illustrated instruction sheet that comes in the box to get an idea of the angle!.

You might try lying on the floor to insert it!. Lie on your back, bend your knees and lift your hips!.

You might also try the ultra thin tampons!.

Try a few times, then go do something else!. Don't bother with it when you're frustrated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try getting a smaller size tampon!. The one you are using might be too big for you!. And forcing it in would be a bad idea!.!.!. because it only gets bigger when it absorbs the blood!.!.!. so imagine how it will hurt coming out!
Also you don't have to put your foot on the toilet!.!. try squatting and gently inserting it that way!.!.!. I think it is much easier! well i hope this helped!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bless your heart! Yes, that must hurt! Okay, try squatting with your legs evenly apart!. Like you are on a stool and your legs are apart!. Then, slowly insert the tampon!. Only put it in as far as is comfortable!. That is the limit for any woman!. Then, of course, you remove the cardboard part (if you don't know about this, please privately message me)!. Just an even squat while you insert should do well!. Let me know if you need more guidance!.!.!. been there, done that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes it's easier if you're sitting down!. Remember to relax, as you might be nervous and tensing up!. if it starts to hurt, try pushing it slightly higher or lower!. Every woman is different, find out what works for you!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put it in at a angle (aiming towards your bum)!. Its easier too if you are sitting on the toilet and inserting from inbetween your legs while you are sitting!. You'll get the hang of it, its a little tricky at first!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, you are on the right track!. Wet the end of the applicator with a little water before you push and try aiming toward your back!. The tampon has to pass through the muscles!. Next time, buy a smaller size of tampon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, try to relax all of your mucsles down there!. If you're tense, it will be inpossible for it to go in properly!. Second, try to put it further in!.!.!.but only try one more time!. Otherwise, you could end up sore for a bit!Www@Answer-Health@Com

youre not inserting it properly and if it feels like its ripping you thats cuz its sticking to your skin cuz ur not bloody enough down there!.

make sure that when ur inserting a tampon its during the heavy part of your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ohmigod!!!! i have been having the SAME problem!!! thank u 4 asking this!!! idk if im doing it right but it sounds like U are!.!.!. Isnt it scary pushing it in!?!?!? i hate it!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know a girl who uses 'preteen' tampons!. They're smaller than regular flow tampons!. Maybe you could try those and move your way up as you get used to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
