If you are in your teenage years or younger, it's perfectly normal to have irregular periods!.

One of my friends skipped her period for 3 months, and then had it for a month straight!.

If you are an adult, I would recommend seeing a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It probably is!. Mine has been starting to last over a week too!. I am on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Lo and have been for 4 years!. I think my body is getting too used to it so I am going to the doctor next week!. Sometimes I have found!.!.!.!.as odd as it may sound!.!.!.!.that when my period slows down and I wear tampons that I continue to bleed!. Yet, if I start wearing a pad it stops!. Sometimes I think the tampon scraps the inside which is like continuously opening a wound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This happens often to women for various reasons!. My cycles have been random on occasion and it does not mean that anything is wrong!. I don't know of any of my female friends who have not had this happen to them at least once in their lifetime!.

If you are on a birth control pill, have an irregular odour and/or pain or you have continued to bleed for two weeks contact your doctor!. It is unlikely that you are experiencing a miscarriage or infection, but you may want to rule out any complications to ease your mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is!.!.!.i got worried when i first had mine beucase it lasted for like 9 days but i'm sure you're fine!.!.if it goes on for longer than 2 weeks than i would tell ur mom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
