Ok I don't have a mom so its very hard to talk to my dad about these kinds of things anyways My doc put me on pills to regulate my period & ever since I started my period its lasted about 25 days! the bleeding is very very heavy & theres these disgusting chunks & tons of it! they look really black & theres giant globs of this stuff! Its really starting to scare me & worry me I bleed so much at such a short amount of time I have to change every 30mins to & 1hour or 1hr&1/2 can someone please help me out & give me some advice!? I'm only 16 & would greatly appreciate it!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my bleeding is like yours!. It has nasty chunks and it is very heavy!. It shouldnt be for 25 days though, so you need to see a doctor for that!. As for the heaviness, i have to wear about 4 pads so it wont leak throught the back!. I spread the pads around the underwear, not in one spot!. Then i use the wipes and change them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
the black chunks are most likely blood clots, sometimes it happens when your period is really heavy!.
The first time I took birth control (to regulate my period) I had a really heavy cycle that lasted longer than normal!. This lasted for the first few months that I was on the pill and then it began to be more like my normal cycle, just it was finally regulated!.
You may want to schedule an appointment with your doctor to make sure that you are experiencing normal symptoms of being on the pill!. You could also try talking to an aunt or a friends mom if you are uncomfortable talking to your dad about the situation!.
How long have you been on the pills!?

I'm sorry you don't have a mom to talk to!. I don't know why your doctor hasn't ran any tests on you to make sure everything is ok!. It is not normal to bleed that much or for that long!. If you have to tell your dad you are having problems and need to go to another doctor!. Sometimes the pill does help regulate your period but if that isn't working you need to see another doctor who can and will help you!. I hope everything gets better for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
That's really not very fun, is it!? If you don't feel comfortable talking to your dad about it, look up the nearest women's health place to you, or take the plunge and call your doctor!. The only thing you need to tell your dad is that there is something wrong and you need to get to the Doctor asap!. The pills you are on sound too strong!. It happened to me plus I was an emotional wreck!. I went back and got my dose reduced and I was better!. P!.S!. You would be amazed at what Dad's will listen to when it comes to their babies!. The color and blobs you see id fine because it varies from to but it really shouldn't last almost a month!. If should be one week to two weeks at most!. You should really talk to a doctor about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm not sure what it is, But get to your doctor soon, If you can't get there soon enough go to the hospital!.
