Bleeding during sex? Please help!?!

Question: Bleeding during sex!? Please help!!?
I am 24 years old!. The past few times my boyfriend and I have had sex I start bleeding a little bit!. It has happened before but only when it got too rough!. Now it just seems like is happens each time!. I am on birth control (5 years) and he wears a condom!. Usually I will use the restroom and when I wipe there will be some on the tissue and it will go away!.

I also have noticed that when I am on my period it seems like its lasting a few day extra when really its because of me inserting a tampon!. I will wear a pad for a few hours and the bleeding stops!.

The only way I can describe it is as if I have a scratch and each something enters my vagina it re-opens the wound!. Thats what I feel like is happening!.

My period just ended on Friday so I know for a fact I am not pregnant!.

Has this happened to anyone before!? What should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Because you mention both bleeding during/after intercourse and a change in your menstrual cycle, I suggest that you see a gynecologist very soon so a proper diagnosis can be made and treatment started!. Rough sexual activity and vaginal dryness would explain mild bleeding during or after sexual activity but not the prolonged menstrual bleeding!.

If you have never had a gynecological exam and/or pap smear, you should have that done soon!. In the meantime, you may try using a safe, fragrance-free, water soluble vaginal lubricant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had similar symptoms and I went to doc and he did a transvaginal ultrasound that showed an enodometrial polyp!.I have to get it out in June!. Apparently its a very simple procedure!. Its called a hysteroscopy!.Definitly get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it sounds like your hymen keeps healing and going back to it's original state!.
it's nothing life-threatening, but I have the same problem so I understand how frustrating it can be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

call your doctor!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you haven't tried this already, I would recommend waiting a week without putting anything in there!. Assuming you won't be needing to put any tampons in, in the next seven days, then take a break from sex!. It is possible that the last time you and your boyfriend got rough, something down there got torn but it hasn't had the chance to heal yet!.

Give it a week to see if it heals!.!.!.then once you have sex again, see if you bleed!. Hopefully not!

If this does not work, then I would recommend that you see a doctor because it could be an indication of a bigger problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
