It depends!. You may need to try another brand; possibly one that is prelubricated for easier insertion or another size!. If you are very inexperienced with it, you should speak with your mom about selecting another product to use!.

Some women are not able to use tampons and chose a comfortable style of pads instead!.

Just make sure that you don't cause irritation to delicate tissues when inserting or removing!. That is a way that troublesome infections can get started!. Advise you again, to speak with your mother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably don't have it in all the way!. Make sure you get the "thumb grip" part of the applicator all the way to your vagina pull the applicator out (don't leave it in)!.

I've used tampons since I was 15 (so 6 years) and I have never heard of/known anyone who got TSS from a tampon!. You could be risking a yeast infection though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it may not be in far enough you shouldn't even feel a tampon!. Try pushing it up just a little bit at a time dont worry it can't get lost and if it hurts its in wrong!. But I've never heard of someone getting seriously hurt from a tampon aside from toxic shock syndrome which is from too high an absorbency left in for too long!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes it is not the tampon that you feel, it is the string hanging down that feels weird and uncomfortable!.!.!.

The first time i used tampons it felt weird so i wasted like 5 just taking them in and out!.!. but then i left one it and after about 5 min it felt fine but when i adjusted the string it started feeling weirdWww@Answer-Health@Com

It can't cause physical damage but it could certainly become more and more uncomfortable as the tampon expands!.

Make sure you are inserting it deep enough and make sure it's the right size!.

If it's the right size and far enough in you shouldn't feel it at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if its your first time using one, it is most likely going to feel weird!. i honostly dont see any possible way of putting it in wrong!. i mean !.!. you stick it up there !.!. push and pull out!. you cant do that wrong! if you dont feel comfortable with it !.!. you should take it out though!. hope u solve ur problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it hurts u should take it out and try to re apply it!. you might not be used to it, butif it hurts like that i would try to reinsert it because u cld get TSS if it's not in properly!. in a book they sya intesert it at an angle and it could take up to 10 tries to get it correct! good luck (:Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it feels wierd you should keep on trying, but maybe it's just because you've never worn one before!. and NO, leaving it in when it feels wrong WON'T give you TSS!. you get TSS if you leave a tampon in for too long, even if it's in right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like u are not inserting it far enough!. Read the directions again and keep practicing!. Once its in far enough you should not feel it at all!. Make sure that you feel the string and are able to get a good hold on it to remove the tampon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
