About birth control and planned parenthood?!

Question: About birth control and planned parenthood!?
What's the law in CT regarding this!? If you're a minor (under 16) and wish to obtain birth control pills or other contraceptions (such as condoms) from planned parenthood, would you need an adult/parent to accompany you!? Does anyone have a reference site they can give me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I don't know if theres any different laws in CT vs Illinois (where I live) regarding this!. I've gone to planned parenthood since I was in high school and they are very good about not sharing any of your informaion (as in your parents wont find out from them)!. If they need to call to confirm an appointment or tell you about lab tests, you can give them your cell or if you had to give them a number that your parents might answer, they will say its your friend xyz (they tell you at the office the name) instead of saying this is planned parenthood, ect!. They offer birth control on a sliding scale, and since you are a student it would probably be by donation!. You don't need a parent to accompany you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to work at Planned Parenthood in MI!. the way the company works is it is confidentail and they take donations, so NO the parents don't need to consent and no they aren't responsible for any bills !.They usually even have days when they are open a little later for teens who are in school!. as far as birth control etc!. there isn't an age requirement to obtain it, even though there is one to have sex!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
