Question: Felt sick when putting tampon in and difficulties!?!?!?
I am 19 and have had my period since I was 11!. I recently have tried using tampons!. Last year I was able to get a few in, but i didn't use them too much because i felt more comfortable with pads!. However, the summer is coming up and I want to get used to tampons in case I get my period on vacation!. So, today I inserted a tampon, but right when I inserted it I felt sick like i was going to vomit or faint!. my face got pail and I didn't feel better until about an hour later!. Also, when I inserted it, I was unable to get rid of the cardboard part of the tampon (you know, the part you push up and out!?) and help!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Two possibilities:
You are one of the minority of people who cannot use tampons!. It's possible, but before you assume this, try to find out how to properly use a tampon!.
Second: maybe you aren't inserting them properly!. Open up a tampon and practice popping the white tampon out of the applicator and then throw it out!. This is what you have to do inside of you!. (Btw, cardboard tampons suck, try to buy one with a plastic applicator, feels much better!.)
What you have to do is poke the tampon inside of you (the end with the string should hang down) and use one hand to hold the tampon while you use the other hand to push the applicator up until both hands are equal!. Then pull down the applicator!. Should have just the tampon with the string hanging down when you are done!. If it hurts, you didn't put it in right and should pull it out and try a different one!.
Try this a few times to get the hang of it and if it still doesn't work for you, stick with pads!. You can always try out tampons in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK first stop using the scented ones cause girl not very many poeple can use them at all! Girl if your a virgin it's going to be more different for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
