If you started the pill within the first two days of the start of your period, then you're covered!. If not, I'd talk to the pharmacist or your doctor!. It only takes seven active pills in a row to be protected at other times!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Check with the doctor!. Most birth controls require you to use a backup method for the first month of a new birth control because its less effective for the first month!.
Taking the Morning After pill (Plan B, or emergency contraception) may be a good idea!. It's a high dose of birth control and effective up to three days after the unprotected sex!. It will mess up your cycle, so check when to start your next pack of pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you started taking it on the first day of your period, and your cycle is regular, then you are probably ok and if you keep taking the pills then you won't ovulate!.
But doctors normally recommend back-up for at least 7 days just in case!. Some pills they suggest 14-28 days though, so it depends what type you are on!.

It's been ages since I took the pill, but I seem to remember being advised that it wouldn't be effective until you'd taken it for one complete cycle (as in taken it for a month)!. If I were you, I'd go and get a morning after pill from the doctor to be on the safe side!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well it is VERY possible for this to hapen,
Your birth control normally does not protect you
until you have completley taken one cycle of
pills,
Ex- 28 pill package, been taking it for 28 days
Ex 24 pill package, been taking it for 24 daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

You are probably just as likely to get pregnant then as you are if you weren't taking the pill!. My gyno told me that I needed to take them for six weeks before they would be effective!. I would go to my gyno or planned parenthood and ask for the morning after pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yeah its is very likely to get pregnant!. The hormones havent taken effect yet you need to wait three weeks, have your period and then start the pill again and then you can have sex with no worries!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
