What is the difference between an Internist and a Family Practice Doctor?!


Question: What is the difference between an Internist and a Family Practice Doctor!?
I am in the process of finding a new primary care Doctor, and am lost as to which kind of doctor is better to have!.

Over all is better to have one rather than the other!?
