Question: I had a miscarrage a few months ago!.!. I was not far!.!. I never went back to my doc to fix it!?
now my doctor says I have an infection!.!. im going tomorrow to get it taken care of, but im scared!. She said I may need surgery!.!.Does anyone know whats going to happen!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

ive had a similar experience, sometimes when you miscarry the entire contents of the uterus does not empty, therefor the tissues and stuff left in there cause infection!.!. dont be scared, they give you an anisthetic and while you are under they gently aspirate and scrape the cervix with a spoon shaped object (curettage), there is minimal discomfort afterwards, good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Based on what you said looks like the surgery that the physician may do is a D/C, a dilatation and curretage!.!.it's just a procedure to remove any remains of the unborn child w/c is causing your infection!.!.
