Questions about your period?!

Question: Questions about your period!?
I've had my period for awhile now!.
and I'm wondering-how do you track what days it'll be on!?

AND! why is there so much blood!? I know it's not a lot-but I've been told it bleeds because the egg drops, blahblahblah, and the blood is from the egg!. But the egg can't be that big, can it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
A "normal" period is 28 days apart!. That means you start counting from Day 1 of your period to Day 28 and thats when your next period would start!.

You've got your info wrong on the second part!. The blood is not part of the egg at all!. Let's start at the very beginning!. Each month, your body prepares to have a baby!. To do this, your uterus begins to build a layer of blood and soft tissue for the egg to grow in!. Towards the middle of the month, your ovaries release an egg and it travels from the ovary, through the falopian tubes, to the uterus!. This is called ovulation!. During ovulation is when you would get pregnant if you were to have sexual intercourse!. The sperm from the man would meet with the egg that's floating around and they would merge into one group of cells!. This little group of cells would then attach to the uterine wall, that fleshy blood layer that had grown for the first half of the month, and begin to grow into a baby!. If the egg is not fertilized by a sperm, it does not attach to the lining!. This is when your body prepares to shed that uterine lining and when, for some women, PMS occurs!. The hormones in your body can affect your moods, cause cramps, and give you headaches!. Shortly after this, you get your period!. This is when the uterine lining comes out of your body and the cycle starts all over again!.

Regarding the size of the egg, it is very very VERY small!. In fact, it is 100-200micrometers!. A micrometer is 1 MILLIONTH of a meter!.

I hope this helps you to understand it better!. Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have been mis-informed!. The "blood" does not come from the egg (which is the largest cell in the body, but still tiny), it is the lining of the uterus (womb) being shed so that a new, fresh layer can grow there!.
To find out when your next cycle will be try charting on a calender/diary when your first day of each period is!. That, over time, will give you an indication of when your next might be due, to within a day or two!. It varies from woman to woman!. Some have short cycles -17 days, and some long - 35 or more!. They are all within the normal range!. The average is around 28-30 days!.
If you have just started, or are within your first year, they may not even be regular yet!.
Also you may experience some tummy fullness or pain a few days before you start!. Just learn to recognize what your body is like about that time, and then you will know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tracking it is easiest with a calendar!. Mark the day that your period came - this is Day 1!. Most women get their period by the time it's Day 28, but it can vary from anywhere betweeh 21 and 40 days!. If you have a regular cycle, your period will likely always be somewhere within about 3 days of day 28!. Some women are not as regular and may get it a week or two early or late each month!. If this is the case for you, you may find it easier to go on the birth control pill!. This will help regulate your cycle so that you always get it on Day 28 and can stop worrying that it will not come or that it will come when you least expect it and are unprepared!.

And yes, as mentioned, there is not really THAT much blood!. It just comes out slowly and ends up getting dragged out for about 5 days!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

at the begining of cycle(just after mensturation) !.there are two special hormones FSH(follical stimulating hormone) and LH(lutenising hormone)!. FSH stimulates the production of estrogen which thickens the endometrium(inner layer of uterus)and makes it more vascular!.near themiddle portion of the periods LH out put increase!.at this time ovulation occurs!.the endometrium is at their peak of its thickness!. if ovum (the egg ) fertilises then the hormones remain at their peak but if not fertilised then the hormone level drops and the egg falls and the endometrium starts sheding and becomes haemmoragic consisting of old blood, mucus, and endromerial tissues!. so, the blood is from the endometrium not from the egg(ovum)!. our body help us to recognise it in many ways first of all the cycle begins after a period of 28-30 days and it varies ,secondly from the symptoms of our body such as---tendorness in breast, lower back ache, tummy fullness or formation of belly, tired ness and pain in legs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

okay, so there is probably a web site you can enter in your period dates and it'll make a list for you, i know the doctor has stuff to do that for you!. its around every twenty two days!.

about the bleeding stuff, what happens is blood its clotted in your artories that i guess holds the eggs there or somthing!. every month the body flushes it out, thats where the blood comes from!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The blood is actually red tissues!. and your period comes once a month so mine is from the 11-15 every month!. you just have to keep track!. and usually i will be pretty close on like it could happen from the 10-14 or the 12-16!. there is blood before the egg comes out and there is blood after!. if your are having your period for the first couple of times, then there is more blood for some reason!. just wait it will get better! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The blood isnt from the egg at all!. The blood is actually your uterine lining!. When the egg drops and does not implant in this lining, your body sheds it!. It is actually about 1-2 oz of liquid but looks like a lot more because of how slow it comes out!.

For tracking it, jsut get a calendar and write down all the details, thats the best way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the dates that youll be getting it varies a lot especially the first year that you have it!.
it wont be like a steady rotation so dont worry but on a calendar, mark down when you get it and then you will be able to see a pattern!.

dont worry if theres so much blood, its normal!. it will lessen within the days!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The blood is actually the disentigrated corpeus luteum, or where the egg would have been nourished should it have been fertilised!.

And to track it, note when it starts each time!. Most women have cycles of 28 days, but it can be as short as 20 or as long as 30+ days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

everyones period cycle is different lengths!. When you have you next period mark down the day on the calender and then do that the following month too!. Then you should know how far apart they are!.
yes the blood is from the egg that "didnt get used" isnt fertilised!. Well I guess the egg is that big!Www@Answer-Health@Com
