Question: Cervical Dysplasia and Pap!?
when i was pregnant with my first son they told me i had mild cervical dysplasia and they did a Colposcopy (sp!?) my second baby i told them i had it and when they did the pap they didnt tell me anything about it again!.!.now this is my third child, told them about teh cervical dysplasia w/ my first and when they did the pap they never once said "oh btw you still have it " or "its progressed" or "its gone away" should i be worried!?!? can it just disappear!? what should i do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, mine went away!. I was told I had the Cervical Dysplasia after my first child and did the Colposcopy!. I got another pap a week or 2 later and was told it was normal!. They said it may of cleared up because I was a non-smoker!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had that done as well!. It is a very common procedure these days!. If they did a colposcopy, they should have removed all of the pre-cancerous cells before they had a chance to change!. If you've had paps and they didn't come back abnormal, you are fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, sometimes dysplasia goes away by itself!. I would say if they haven't told you otherwise, then it's probably gone!. No news is good news in this circumstance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
