It will depend on your state, your physician and your pharmacy--and your allowance (birth control is not cheap)!. You are very young and may not realize the serious risks involved with sexual activity at your age!. Birth control is prevention of pregnancy only!. It does not protect you from the REAL major issues involved with sex: emotional aspects of a physical relationship that can result in a broken heart!. And REALLY major STD's including HIV/AIDS!. (Moral issues!.!.!. I won't go there because you seem to have made up your mind already!.)
Also consider the health risks with contraceptives!. You need to have a talk with mom or another mature adult before making that decision but I know I'm "talking to the hand!."

ps One poster said no pharmacy will refuse you!. That is not quite accurate!. Pharmacists have the right to refuse if it is against their personal moral views!. There are currently court cases on that issue but most have come under the rights of the pharmacists!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are way to young to be thinking about birth control!. if its not prescribed by a doctor then dont take it!. some girls take birth control for controlling their acne!.!.!. if this is what its for then its ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
