Is it true that bananas help with period cramps? How?!


Question: Is it true that bananas help with period cramps!? How!?
I heard that it did,so I tried it!. Earlier I ate half of a banana and my cramps did ease!.


So if its true what is in them that makes it work!?

Also,what are other foods that help with cramps!?
