i just bought my 1st box of tampons and havent used them yet!. i have had my period since feb!. 10 2008 and use pads, they r great but i want to try tampons! i took a survey before i bought tampons and every most people said tampax pearl tampons some said playtex gentle glide!.!.!. anyways, this is what i have:
pads: always thin ultra long (green pack, green line)
tampons: tampax pearl plastic regular!.

It is really a woman's personal choice what she uses!. One is only better than the other depending on the woman's needs and wants!. Some women have a very small opening in their hymen and find pads more comfortable!. Other young women don't feel comfortable inserting a tampon in themselves!. Some women don't care for pads because to them the pad feels like a large pillow!.
Some women don't want to worry about toxic shock syndrome from tampons!. It is safer to wear a pad than a tampon if you can't change a tampon as often as you need to to make it safe!. If work, or school gets in a way a pad is better,

Pads (Always regular without wings)!. I use Playtex Sport tampons when swimming or if I'm playing sports!. I like pads mostly because you can feel if they need to be changed, and they offer a "feeling" of protection that tampons just don't seem to give me!. Plus, pads will absorb a little more even if it does get very full!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Eh, I use both really!. Tampons for the most part but pads when i'm coming off of my period and I'm too dry to actually use a tampon!. I use tampons because they are not as nasty and dirty as pads!. You just insert them inside you and it absorbs the blood, plus pads make you rash and they smell!. I use Tampax brand tampons and Always wings pads!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Pads and tampons, b/c it depends on what your doing and what clothes you want to wear!. For me when I wear tampons I can wear light colors and not have to worry but I actually never messed up my clothes before!.!.!.!.and I got my peiod around 13 and I'm 18 but then if your cycles dont last long the use pads, soo, it depends on the girlWww@Answer-Health@Com
Well, I had a Novasure, so right now just pantyliners, but I used to use pads!. I was always nervous about tampons, I would try them in the pool, but it just felt weird like I was afraid they were too far in or I was afraid not to shove them far enough!. And it's so gross to pull them out!. I know TMI!. LOLWww@Answer-Health@Com

1)u feel it coming down sometimes (yuck)
2)u see it everytime u go to the bathroom and u smell it then too
3) u have to change pads like every 3 hours!!!
4)ure always scared ull leak with a pad
5)u really do leak with a pad!
6)they feel like diapers sometimes
7)u feel like people can see ure wearing a pad or hear it while u walk!
8) u have to be careful how u sit when u wear a pad (so none sees it and u dont leak!.
tampons are so clean! u dont see them u dont feel them! u can run ,jump, play !.!.!.!.live ur life!!!! and u dont have to worry about changing so much! @school this is so free-ing!!! tampons are the bestest!.
however at the end of my period i dont really care anymore!. and i wear pads cuz i can wear like one or two for the whole day and they just dont bother me for some reason!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use pads unless I go swimming!. Then I use tampons!. I don't like tampons!. They make me cramp after a while so I just stick to the pads unless, like I said, I'm swimming!.

Pads! they are comfortable, and the brand doesn't really matter, just use the one with the wings!. Tampons are sick! Really think how gross it is to stick something in there, so stick with pads, guaranteed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they are much much more CLEANER and less irritating than pads!.
