Am i really depressed??!


Question: Am i really depressed!?!?
Ive taken like 3 quizes and they all say see a doctor!. Im 13 in Jr!. High and i have been having some strange things going on!. It seems as if nobody cares about me!. Im tired and sore all over and even my extra strong persrictption meds dont work for pain!. I feel sick all the time and so drained!. I cry for no reason!. I have considered cutting but i dont wanna kill myself!. I have been mad at my friends and so cranky!. It has nothing to do with PMS cuz its constant!. I might be depressed but idk!. PLease help and at leate give me tips on how to deal with my emotions and like something i can do to relax and make me happy i guess!. Thanks! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

u can be happy by making a conscious decision to be happy!. everyday tell urself y ure glad ure alive, give urself something to look forward to each day!. open up to ur parents and friends because a problem shared is a problem halved!. and having good personal relationships decreases depression!. find things u love to do!. experiment!. join a sport and even if u dont make SURE u exercise somehow it really does make u happier! get a hobby or start learning a musical instrument!. join a club like girl guides all these things add to your life!.

but remember 13 is a difficult age!. always remember u will be happy again and there ARE people who love u!. and u r not alone in ur depression!. millions are down!. i have thought before i was depressed but i have been able to take control of it!. to tell u the honest truth just about everyone, no matter how happy and peaceful and perfect their lives look, are hiding problems! seriously! so many girls i once envied have told me secrets that have completely transformed them in my eyes!! take no personal offence, but i believe depression is laziness!. if u want to be happy u can be! seriously! if u cant make urself happy make someone else happy, and see what happens in ur own heart ;)

do not cut!. that is not an effective method for dealing with depression it will only worsen it! and if ur classmates find out that will be terrible!

find someone u can talk to!. not necessarily about all this just to TALK!. someone mature and trustworthy so u can always have someone there for u!. an aunt!? a grandmother!? teacher!? older cousin!? next door neighbour!?

yoga helps u relax! really! and i want to stress how NORMAL these feelings are!. for me, realizing depression was just a stage EVERYONE can and does go thru especially at my age, made me feel so much better!. accept ur sadness!. then just try to be happier and remember life is a gift!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok well im the same way!.!.!. i think We'll get over it after teens!.!.!. Im 14 and 15 in 2 months!.!.!. I get mad/sad all the time!.!.!. Dont cut bc thats not healthy!.!.!. And when ppl cut its not to suicide its to feel control over their life(idk) But I think it will just go away!.!.!. Bc I also mine isnt PMS bc ima guy!.!.!. Try talking to your Doctor about this and see what they can do to help you!.

To me, you do sound like you may be depressed, so the sooner you can see your Doctor the better it will be for you!.

When I feel run down I look at people less fortunate than I am and it help pull me through!. As bad as it seems someone else is dealing with much greater problems, consider yourself lucky!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well me and you have the same issue
im 13 and i have depression
here are some symptoms
feels like no one cares about you
feel like crying
sometimes things annoy you
feel sad for no reason

ways to "treat" depression
well you can jog, run, swim, sing, dance, write or other things like reading!.
when ever you feel that you feel depressed than just go somewhere to keep you from feeling depressed!.
