Question: Laparoscopy!?
I am having a laparoscopy for endometriosis on Friday the 30th!. They are also doing a D&C while I am there!. How long do you think it will take for me to recover!. I work at a desk job but I am suppose to start beauty school on Monday the 2nd!. Should I put beauty school off for a week or will I be okay by monday!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Having had many laparoscopies myself for endometriosis, as well as being a nurse, I can tell you first hand that you are probably pushing it by trying to start school only 3 days after having the procedure!. Not to mention also having the D&C!. If school is going to require you being on your feet for anymore than 15 or 20 minutes at a time, that will probably be just too much!.
I would suggest you waiting a week if the school will allow it!. And in all honesty - work may even be a little too much come Monday morning!. You normally want at least five days recovery time before going back to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well with my laparoscopy, I had 3 days before I started to feel like normal!. Mostly its the gas pain I had!. As you know they fill your abdomin with a gas so that the dr can move the cameral around and see things!. Well over time that gas needs to release and it rises up into your shoulders so your shoulders, arms, and neck will be sore and you will proably move pretty slow!. If you can push back your beauty school, I would!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ive had two laparoscopies for ovarian cysts and i can tell you that it would be best for you to put off the beauty school it took me about a week till i was able to walk around without pain but you do start to feel a bit better after around 3-4 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
