The same thing happened to me when I started mine, but the time it got to the swimming it had nearly stopped!. Just remember that if your barely bleeding anymore your period stops in cold water, so you would probably be fine not using anything!. It seems that you are fine with tampons but I was personally nervous and didnt want to use them at first til I got used to having periods!I dont think brand matters much but I found ones with applicators easier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
im proud of u for being brave enough to use tampons ur first period! and by saturday it will likely still be there, but light!. if u have used OB and u like them just continue with them! theyre cheaper and more environmentally friendly and they hold as much as other top brands like kotex and playtex, and they are all equal really its just personal choice!. u can try all different brands just for fun if u want! but id say switch to playtex gentle glide if u find insertion with OB uncomfortable, not for any other reason!. Wear ur tampons during the week to see how long u can keep one in before u have to change it, so on Saturday ull no!. also u can find out whether u shud use a higher or lower absorbency!. (if after 8 hrs is not full u need a lower, if it leaks befor 2 or 3 hrs u shud get a higher, although maybe u want to change it every 2 hrs!.!.!.for safety reasons or whatever)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I honestly prefer Playtex Gentle Glide!. It has 360 protection and it's a lot more comfortable than Tampax Pearl!. Tampax Pearl opens width wise, making it rather painful!. So, especially for swimming Playtex Gentle Glide!. If not that, try the sport tampons, they are again open 360 and they are made for moving around a lot in!. I was pleased with them!. use whatever you normally use!. playtex is the best!. never ever use tampax, the way their cotton is made it can infect you!. my friend works for tampax and my mom works with a nurse and a gyno, they say never use tampaxWww@Answer-Health@Com
You'll more than likely still be on your period and it all depends on your flow!. I use Kotex (brand doesn't matter) but say this because they have 3 different tampons included - for different 'flow' days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
