Question: PERIOD sooo BLOATED!!?
I feel very bloated when i have my period!. What causes people to be bloated when they get their periods and what can do to make me feel less bloated!? please help!. =\

a lot of this bloating is due to the diet we have!. with the changes in hormones going on in a cycle its a good idea to be careful of what you eat!. carbohydrates are known to bloat!. dont give them up totally but try and eat more fresh fruit and vegetables!. dont drink coffee, cola or fizzy drinks!. drink lots of water and dont eat chocolate ,caffeine affects you and your cycle as far as feeling moody and bloated goes and caffeine is in chocolate, cola an coffee!. this may not cure you but it will make a difference if you stick with it!. caffeine is like a drug too so if you have it then suddenly stop it can affect your body and make you go through a withdrawal!. i suffer from that if i eat too much chocolate!. bad headaches etc happen if i have too much then dont eat any!. its all a matter of being balanced!. just a suggestion but it worked for me in the past!. try and eat well!. sleep well!. get exercise and drink lots of water!. all the best to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try actually exercising when your on your period and this will make you feel better about yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

During your period your body retains a lot of water causing bloating!. Avoiding salty foods and "regular" exercise may help relieve the bloating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
