Question: Can I stop taking the pill early in the cycle and if so will it bring on another period!?
For a operation I have been told to stop taking the pill due to clots!. I have just started a new pack (cycle) and wondered if its ok to stop straightaway!? Also do I have to wait for the first day of a period to start the pill again or can I take it anytime!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you can stop it early in the cycle!. You might get a bit of bleeding, but if you're within the first few days it will probably just be a bit of light spotting rather than a full period!. The most important thing to be aware of is that you will NOT be protected against pregnancy, and therefore you MUST use another form of contraception if you are going to have sex!.
In terms of starting it again, as long as you can be 100% sure you are not pregnant, you can start taking it any time!. If there is even a tiny possibility of pregnancy, you should wait until you get your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is fine to stop taking them at any time!. Your body will recognize that it didn't receive the pills and you will start your period about 3 days after your first missed pill!. Just be sure to use some type of back up birth control (condoms) because missing pills will cause you to ovulate immediately!.
You can start the pills back whenever you want!. The only draw back is that it will alter your monthly cycle!. If you have always been used to starting on the 10th but you start the pills on the 20th, your cycle will stay with the 20th now!.
But that is not a problem to worry about, as long as you get your period every month you are fine!.

if you stop straight away now if it is only a couple of days into the new pack then it should be fine!.!.!.just expect a break through bleed it shouldnt be much just expect it!.!.!.

I would stop right away, even though it won't give your period until later!. It will take a few weeks to get all the hormones etc out of your system!.

If you stop your pills yes you will have another peoid and unforntley you do have to wait for another peoid before you can begin taking them!. However I never heard of Clots or haveing a doctor ask me to stop taking them!. You may want to check with OBGYN about this first!. Hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
you WILL have another period!. i know because i did this when i swapped over pills and i was really annoye dbecaus ei had just had a period and i get right bad period pains so it was like two in a row almost! i cant remember about what day to start taking it again though, sorryWww@Answer-Health@Com
if you stop taking the pill you will come on 2 days after you stop taking it, i would speak to who ever gave you the pill because you have to take it the day you started it on after every break you have, for example my will be sunday i hope you get this sorted and good luck with you oparationWww@Answer-Health@Com
This is a very dangerous situation!. I don't believe that you will start your period!. It should be okay to stop, but I would consult a doctor!. You need to take the pill when the doctor tells you too!. they know you, we don't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
