Does shaving your pubes help prevent yeast infections?!

Question: Does shaving your pubes help prevent yeast infections!?
I heard that for the same reasons doctors recommend wearing cotton underwear, and not sleeping in underwear (because it lets your vagina breath, and yeast likes humidity) that shaving your pubes helps prevent yeast infections, but I've heard elsewhere that pubic hairs purpose is to help prevent the vagina from becoming infected!.

Which is right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

All those are right!.!.!. I thinkWww@Answer-Health@Com

1) Pubic hair generally has no influence on the likelyhood to contract a vaginal yeast infection!.

2) It is right that very tight clothing, particularly made of synthetic fibers, favors a humid and hot environment in the private area and thus favors vaginal yeast infections!.

3) Shaved pubic areas combined with very tight clothing is the worst case, because the clothing will be in direct contact with the skin and the skin will become moist and not be able to breath!. Pubic hair still provides some measure of distance between clothing and skin!.

4) When wearing appropriate clothing you may freely decide whether to shave or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shaving does not prevent any sort of infection!. It's not "cleaner" either!. Devotees of bald pubises tend to make a lot of overstated claims about the health benefits of shaving, which they can never prove!. The truth is, they just like the way it looks (for some reason I'll never understand)!. There is no health benefit to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Going without underwear does help!. The less you wear down there the better off you are!. My guess is that shaving may help because it would leave less places for moisture and bacteria to hide!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor is right!. Go to him or her and ask the best way to prevent this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't think it really matters!. it depends on the person!.!.!.and how prone to them you are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
