I used to suffer from this too when i frist got my period!. I used to scream, throw things (at my parents) and cry and cry each month!. My periods were rediculously heavy and painful too!. I was put on the pill which REALLY helped!. I could not survive without it! However! there were some temporary things they tried!. One thing, I was low in iron because i was losing so much blood each month so i was put on an iron suppliment!. However, the pill helped with that so now i dont have a problem with anemia!. Help her notice when she becomes over emotional!. I became more aware of it after a while and was able to calm myself down!. Talk to her when she isnt pmsing and maybe agree that you will tell her that she is starting to pms and go a bit crazy lol and she can take steps to calm herself down for instance, going into her room or living room and listening to some calming music, watching some tv or reading!. Also as much as you want jobs done, don't nag, it just adds to the stress, leave nagging until the pms has passed! As suggested she can also have a hot water bottle to help with the sore back!. I used to put the electric blanket on on my bed, turned it off before i got in but i lay on it and it really soothed my back and stomach pains!. She could also be getting flustered with the cramps and even a bit feverish so try giving her a painkiller as soon as the pms starts or even before if her periods are clockwork!.

If she has to take time off school or if it is really disrupting her life then i suggest taking her to the doctor!. The pill is one option but there are various other medications available to help reduce pms symtoms and so on and other that can lighten the period meaning less iron loss and so on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

have you tried ibprofen!?
usually it takes away everythingg!.
maybe a heating pad!?
or there is a problem when girls pms overly because they arent getting enough iron or calcium, pick up vitamin tablets and have her take them daily, see if it helps over a few months course though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When pms is to the extremes, it normally a sign of PMDD, or premenstrual dysphoric disorder!.

What you explained sounds exactly like what your daughter suffers from!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
