You didn't do anything wrong, you actually did right by taking it out! Some girls would try cramming it up further there or just dealing with the discomfort!.

Tampons in general are going to feel a bit comfy for awhile, esp since you've just started using them!. And during your period, EVERYTHING is going to be more sensitive!.

Nothing was broken!.
Nothing was hurt but maybe "bumped" by an ill-fitting tampon!.

When you are inserting a tampon, try it standing up!.
Put one foot on the toliet to help open your vagina and slowly insert the tampon!. It may be be uncomfortable but keep going!. Discomfort or pain can be caused from a tampon that wasnt inserted all the way!.
If its still painful and uncomfortable, dont use tampons!. Go back to the good ol' pads :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

you didn't break anything!. i had the same problem when i first started using tampons years ago!. it may have been that you just didn't get the tampon in far enough and then when you sat, you may have put extra pressure on your vaginal walls!. thats why it hurt even after you removed it!. give it a few hours or even a day or two and then try it again!. just remember to slide the tampon in until your fingers are against your body!. oh, and the more you relax, the easier it will go!. good luck and if you need anything else, just ask!.

It's gonna be uncomfotable until you get use to it!. 1!.) Make sure you're using the right absorbency!. That can make a difference!. Not to be gross- but, if you're using say a "Super" and your period is trailing off (ending), then that is gonna be uncomfortable!. Think about it!. A tampon is cotton and dry at that!. If you just started your period- use a "Regular"!. The heavier, the higher the absorbency!. The lighter, the lower the absorbency!. 2!.) Make sure you inserting it all the way!. You will just know!. I don't think it can go too far!. Those 2 things, plus your body not being use to it yet can make it uncomfortable at first!. You'll learn!. It's not like an instinct for women!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably did not put it in properly!. It could have shifted and hit the wall of your vagina which could cause slight uncomfortably !. You can not break your vagina!.!.!.!. Your best bet would be to start with slim tampons until you master putting them in!.!.!.!. you also could have hit your urethra (where the pee comes out of) by accident which could cause pain!.!.!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

make sure to stick the first part of the applicator all the way in!!! then with the 2nd half push it so the tampon ( cotton part) can go in!. if it's not in all the way properly it will hurt and start off with the smaller tampons first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's ok!. don't worry!. It always feels weird and might hurt the first couple times but just to make sure!.!.!.
