Answers:
You know when you have an itch that drives you up the wall, you are red and sore, and you have a clumpy white cottage-cheese discharge!. There are over the counter medications to treat it, but you should see a doctor if this is your first yeast infection!. Some infections can mimic the symptoms of yeast, and if you treat wrong you may just be covering up something more serious!. Get yourself to the gyn to diagnose this time, then next time you know what to look for and can self-treat!. Also, the doctor will probably give you Diflucan, a one time pill taken by mouth!. This is far better than messing with the Monistat creams and ovules!.

For future reference: Next time a doctor prescribes you antibiotics for any reason, ask them for a prescription for Diflucan at the same time!. Antibiotics are such common givers of yeast infections that the doc will write it without batting an eyelash!. That way if you get one you can treat w/o having to go back or call back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

For a few women a yeast infection can go away on its own just after her period!. You can also buy Monistat over-the-counter!. Eat less sugar, more unsweetened yogurt or take probiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
