Question: Horrible stabbing pain while jogging, help!!?
My sister called me last night and told me that the last few days while she was jogging she had horrible stabbing pains (that apprently felt like being in labour, but she's never been in labour) that lasted only for a few minutes, then completely went away, and she was able to keep running!. It's happened twice now, and she's also had mild cramping for the past few days!.!.!.she is not sexually active so pregnancy isn't an option in diagnosis, but also hasn't gotton her period in a few months!. I told her to go get an ultrasound, it may be a cyst or fibroids or something!.!.!.what does anyone else think it may be!.!.it really worried her because she said it was the worst pain she'd ever had, and it made her panic it was so brutal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it can be anything from peritonitis to a development of a tumour !. Again, organs can radiate pain, so it does not necessarily mean the pain is originated in the uterus area!. Colonic blockage and appendix can give very funny pains at times that have nothing in common with the generally accepted signs as symptoms!. I'd suggest ultrasound and full blood test!.

Yeah, it would be a really good idea to get checked out by a gyn/women's health doctor just to make sure everything is ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

her symptoms sound similar to those a friend of mine had, while exercising she somehow managed to have one of her ovaries flip around twisting the fallopian tube and cutting off blood supply to her ovary!. From the time she first experienced the pain it grew exponentially worse and we went from leaving our afternoon activities to home to rest to a urologist (she thought she might have a kidney stone) to the emergency room where by that time she was writhing in unbelievable pain!. They gave her meds stronger than morphine and the dr equated her pain to all kinds of painful things happening to their balls simultaneously!.
It took them a long time to finally diagnose her at the ER so I was just putting the idea out there incase it relates!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
