Question: Yasmin for prolonged, heavy bleeding!.!.!.!.!?
I've been taking them for one month and my bleeding never did go away, I still had spotting!. When I started the reminder pills, my bleeding came back very heavy, just like before!.
How long will it take to lighten and shorten my bleeding!?

It might take a little while longer if it helps you!. Otherwise, if it dosen't help your periods, you may need to try a different pill!. I was on Yasmin for awhile to try to control my heavy bleeding between periods, but it never did help me and I have been on 4 other birth control pills in the past year which haven't helped either!. I hope the Yasmin will work out for you!. Maybe you should contact your doctor and let them know that it's not helping!. Your doc will probably say to give it a little more time before you decide whether or not you want to switch!. I hope things get better! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
In general it takes a few months for the body to get used to the hormones in birth control pills!. check with your doctor how long you can expect breakthrough bleeding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
