Anorexia?10 pts best answer!?!

Question: Anorexia!?10 pts best answer!!?
I saw a woman(about 29-30 years old) at the park a few weeks ago and she was in a wheel chair!. She had her daughter with her too!. The woman looked normal from her waist up(her arms were a little thin, but not too thin), except her legs were like tiny sticks!. She was crazy skinny!. I could see her bones protruding through her knees and legs!. But the woman looked so happy to be there and she always smiled at me and my sisters!. She was really pretty, too, but the question here is, could that be anorexia or any other disorder!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would say she likely had a degenerative disease or had been paralyzed from the waist down!. When you cannot exercise your limbs, they waste away into nothing, but given that her arms appeared skinny too, I'd say she probably has a disease!. It is good to know that she has a positive attitude and is getting out with her family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she's in a wheelchair, her legs might not be real!. They could be fake wooden legs she's wearing that don't actually work but make her look more normal!. I've known people in wheelchairs who have artificial legs like that!. So I wouldn't judge by that!. Since you don't know her or know what her eating habits are like, there's no real way to tell if she's anorexic!.

Edit about the fake legs: Oh okay, I guess I'd just assumed she had pants on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, she probably had something like muscular degeneration or was paralyzed or somethign like that!.

Anorexia doesn't cause you to lose weight below the waist and keep it above the waistWww@Answer-Health@Com
