Question: Very VERY EMBARASSING QUESTION :S:S:S:S!?
right, i'm female, and i've been itching A LOT down 'there' recently, i've just noticed that the lips of my vagina are reallly red and inflamed!. it hurts like hell and its as if one of them is swollen!. i'm a virgin but my boyfriend made me bleed by fingering me like a month ago!. i'm so worried!.!.!. what's happened!.!. what can i do!?!? please help :Sthanks xWww@Answer-Health@Com

No need to panic!. Several things can cause this!.
1!. Hormonal Change - Normal and most of us have had the "evil itch"!. You can use Vagisil cream or wipes to help with the itching!. Soaking in a baking soda bath helps as well too!.
2!. Laundry detergent - You may be having an allergic reaction!. Change detergents and follow directions in # 1!.
3!. Heat- Due to the perspiration this can cause you to itch something horribly!. Follow Directions in # 1 and wear cotton underwear for awhile!.
4!. Using Feminine- Sprays and powders!. YOU NEVER USE THESE PRODUCTS!. They can promote yeast infections, bacterial infections, etc!.
5!. Use Non-scented pads or tampons!.
6!. Body soap - if your using one that is scented you may want to change!. I have too use Aveeno to avoid the "evil itch"!. Follow the directions in # 1!.
Finally if this persists you may want to say something to your Mom and you may need to be checked out by a doctor!. While I don't think it has anything to do with the foreplay you and your boy friend had!. I do think your either allergic to something or having a Chemistry change!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get that - i noticed after my period it is worse so i stopped using pads and only use tampons now and it has gotten a lot better, went to see the doctor about it, and she said ( and i know this will sound funny) to wear skirts without any underwear, bacteria develops in warm wet places so dont take hot bath, and DO NOT EVER wash down there with scented or hard soap, use femfresh or an unscented soap specifically for that area!. some people are more prone to this than other, and apparently there aint nothing the doctors can do about it (!) theres a cream i got, Clotrimazole and it is BRILLIANT!. you have to keep using it for i thjink 30 days, but it is so good, i swear on it!.
its a tough predicament and i feel for you so bad bc i suffered 6 years of this without telling anyone because i was so embarrassed - wish ide known about this site!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Could be beginnings of a yeast infection, and it could also be caused by an infection if his fingers were not totally clean!.
Try vagisil, cleanse the area with a warm sitz bath, keep your own hands away from it and keep applying a warm cloth!. Use a warm wet cloth to itch, don't touch!. Tell your bf to wash his hands!. If it does not subside, see your Dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you probably have a yeast infection,either go to dr or get over the counter meds like monistat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
