Now I don't know how bad your "really bad skin" actually is, but I can say that I have never come across another girl who has had acne worse than me!.
I have PCOS, and by age 8 I had acne, by 13 it was severe acne, and by 15 it was unbearable!. What worked for me was accutane!. After the accutane, birth control pills kept my skin in check!. My skin is now, thankfully, crystal clear!. Although I do have some scars left behind, but that hardly bothers me!.
If you can't go on the pill, talk to your doctor about metformin!. I've never been on it, but it can be very helpful for women with PCOS!.
All types of acne can be helped (even if only a little) with using the right products, cleansers etc!. effectively and consistently!. Proactive works, but there are plenty of other products on the market that have effective results as well!. See what's easy and works for you!.

Consider doing the standard treatment of using Metformin!.!.!. Talk to your doctor about it, as this is a standard treatment option!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
