Question: Ladies: When do you count the 1st day of menstruation!?
Do you wait until you see blood on your underwear or do you count brownish reddish discharge!? I'm curious because I got my period technically early Friday morning (around midnight) but I also saw some brownish reddish discharge on Thursday afternoon!. I didn't bleed fully until early Friday morning!? Can anyone help!? Whats the correct way to count!?

I always count mine on the first day that I actually start bleeding!.
Some women can have the spotty, dark colored discharge for up to 4 days before they actually start the bleeding!.
So, your most accurate day to note as the "official" start of your period would be the day you actually start bleeding!.
In this particular case, it would be Friday!.
