You are probably going at it from the wrong angle!. My advice is to put your finger in there so you understand the angle!. Also you could be tensing up your muscles!. You need to relax when inserting a tampon!. I know the finger thing sounds gross, but if you do not have a clear understanding of the anatomy down there, you won't get it right!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A lot of women seem to have this problem as well, so don't worry!. It could be a number of things!. 1) If your hymen is still intact it could be that you are pushing the tampon against it and it is not going through and it needs to tare to do so!. 2) You could be angeling it the wrong way!. I was taught, well, I learned from the box that you should angle the tampon downward so that, I assume, it doesn't go into your bladder!. 3) The tampons could just be too big for you, I suppose!. A friend of mine could n't get her tampons in either and so she waited a long time, and finally one day she was able to use them!. So maybe you could wait a while and try again another time of if it is really bothering you, you could talk to a trusted friend, a relative or a doctor but I am pretty sure nothing is wrong with you and that it probably just needs some time or you need to keep practicing!. ^_^ Enjoy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have to actually get in a squat position over the toilet!. Have one of your legs spread over each side and then try to insert the tampon!. Make sure you point towards your lower back!. I know the easiest tampons to use for myself are the Tampax Pearl, those glide very easily!. If you have any lubricant, apply some over the applicator and then try that way!. You may also have to slowly insert a little bit and then out and then insert a little further and then out, and keep proceeding until it goes in to the desired point!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try a couple different positions: Standing with one foot on the toilet or lying on your back with your knees bent!.

When inserting the tampon, angle it toward the small of your back (the back of your waisteline)!. Don't try to have it pointing straight up!.

Lastly, try getting one of the really narrow (slender) tampons!. Most brands have them!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK!. Do you see that little grip!? Its like an indent on the aplicator!? Thats were you put your fingers!. Push it all the way in UNTIL you fingers are touching your priivates!. Then STOP! Its in!. Then hold the bottom skinny part and keep you fingers on the grip and slide down, tehn the aplicator show come out and then all you should see it the string! Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
