Not always!. It hasn't always for me any way!. Some times women don't have an actual cycle every month but they will still have discharge!. Since it was your first period don't be too worried if you don't have it this month or next!. It takes a while for your body to find its own rhythm!. I would say just keep some "supplies" handy, in your purse or bag, and don't worry!.

Since you have just started having periods they most likely will not be "regular" for quite some time yet!.
A clear discharge is quite normal for many women to have between periods, but it is not necessarily a sign that you are getting ready to start!.
Now, if you have any dark colored discharge, that is referred to a spotting and is a more clear indicator that you should be starting soon (usually within 1 - 4 days, in most cases)!.
Being that you have just started having periods, don't be alarmed if you skip a month (or months) or if you have an extra long period - this is pretty normal in pre-teens and teenagers!.
For reassurance, you should speak with your Mother, an Aunt or a Grandmother and they can fill in a lot of the "blanks" for you!.
