Annoying periods and pains?!

Question: Annoying periods and pains!?
I am 15 years old and i have normal periods, not light and not heavy!. But i suffer from cramps before, during and after!.

I'm thinking about the contraceptive pill to stop my periods!? I'm not having sex or anything, i just want to ease off my periods abit!.

Am i old enough to get them!?
Where do i get them from!?
Will my periods go back to normal if i miss one!?

I wouldn't take contraceptive pills love, it just isn't right, because they have side effects of their own and untold long term problems!. The old remedy for period pains, was Anadin tablets during the time phase you are having pains!. Always visit your doctor first, if you would like to see a female doctor, you can request this at the time of booking, if there are no female doctors at your practice, change your practice!. Good luck sweety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some people who use a contraceptive pill do report that it helps with severe cramps etc!.It is thought that the controlled hormones can help to lessen the 'side effects' of a period!.
At 15 you would have to speak to your doctor about it who would decide if it was apropriate for you to go on the pill for this reason!.
Don't forget that most contaceptive pills do not stop your periods, they are designed to be taken with a week break each month to allow normal menstruation!.

There are many other ways of dealing with period pain though, such as hot pads, massage, common or garden pain killers, herbal remedies, even TENS therapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i started my period when i was 9 years old!. periods are completely normal and it starts mainly to girls from 12 years old!. although i am the unlucky and had mine 3 years earlier and you are pretty lucky to have yours at 15 :)

the cramps may be bad and sometimes hard to live with, but it doesn't affect your health in any way!.
Try taking some paracetamols, or if they are too bad you can go to your GP and ask for some more effective pain relievers!.!.!.

The period comes from your ovaries (reproducing eggs) in your belly!.
They are just getting rid of dirty blood and re-making them with newer blood ready for when you need them if you are to get pregnant!.!.

Taking the contraceptive pill may be a good choice to make, though it might not take your periods away completely!.

Furthermore there is an injection which i suggest you steer clear from!. It will stop your periods, which might seem like a good thing to you, but it is highly dangerous!.!.!. it can cause strokes and even death!.!.!.

Don't stop your periods, it could mess up everything when you DO wanna have a baby!! Now stop complaining, you aren't the only one who has to go through this!! Get something for cramps, or try hot bags on your stomache at night!.

But cramps are no reason to try and stop nature's cycle!. !. that's a very stupid thing to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I know it's annoying!. I have the same problem and take the Pill and it helps, not completely!. It seems that the doctor can't do much about it, but do talk to him nevertheless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to discuss these issues with your doctor!. Birth control pills can help ease cramps!. You are old enough for the pill!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
