There is no way of getting rid of them completely!. My girlfriend put on a bit of weight last summer and got some on her hips and belly!. She got real paranoid bout them and tried Stivectin SD and loads of expensive creams and a year later they are no better!. she is going to try and have lazer treatment!. This might help explain better :D
By using one particular type of laser, called a Pulsed Dye laser, the appearance of stretch marks may be improved, especially those stretch marks that are red or purple in colour!. The medical practitioner performing stretch mark treatment will trace the laser over the stretch mark!. The laser energy is pulsed and with each pulse lasting less than one thousandth of a second, interacts selectively with the stretch mark without affecting the surrounding skin!.
I think it works best on red or purple marks but is also good for fading them a bit when they are silver or white!. Hope this helps cos I know how distressing they can be for my gf so dont worry there is a way of making them nearly impossible to see! I always had pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region and abdomen ever since I gave birth to my three kids!.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but it didn't seem to work!. My Doctor had even suggested a Tummy Tuck!. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream!. I tried it and it worked really well!. You can't get rid of stretch marks!. Everyone has them!. Men and women!. The only thing you can do is reduce their apperance!. coco butter works well!. Or get a fake tan!.!. works for meWww@Answer-Health@Com
Unfortunately once you have them they are their for life!. However there are creams and lotions on the market which will help fade them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if you have light skin you could go tanning to help them disaper but they will never go away
