Hair falling out in long clumps?!
Question: Hair falling out in long clumps!?
hey guys!. i have been hypothyroid for many years now but it is finally under control and i feel like i can do something about my health!.
i have been under a lot of stress lately; i'm getting married in 14 months, my fiance and i both graduated school and are job hunting; apparently i SUCK at interview questions, though i always get to the final interview, which means i'm qualified for something thank god !.!.!. i'm going into hr and he's going to be an x ray tech!. i'm job hunting and he's got one more month to go with school!.
i'm also on working on getting down to a decent weight for my wedding; i gained 60lbs due to an illness that would not go away and things are just now getting corrected; i used to be a size 6 and am now a size 18!. sigh!.
i'm trying not to take it out on my fiance but he knows i'm stressed!. could that be why my hair is falling out in huge clumps in the shower, stress!? anything i can do!? thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, it could be the stress, or it could be that the stress is making your thyroid be not in "control"!. Have your thyroid levels checked soon, and see if that is the problem!. If your thyroid levels are adequate with your medication, then it is likely just the stress!.
