Question: Is it absolutely necassary to visit a gyno with first period!?
I started my period last month and didn't visit a gyno and don't plan on it!. Is that bad!? Should I go anyways even though I refuse to go!? I'm heavyset and very self-conscious and don't like people touching/looking at me at this age!. I really don't want to go!. Please help!!?!!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unless you're having problems with your reproductive system & all that, you could wait a bit!.

As here in the UK we just have our first period, buy some panty liners or if you are brave, buy some tampons
and get on with it !!!

well im 20 and I have been having my period for about 5 years, and Ive had sex and still ahvent gone to the gyno!. I know I should have but nothing bad has happened to me and I'm not very worried about it, so you should right now eitherWww@Answer-Health@Com

You don't have to go when you start your period!. You should start going between 18-21 or when you become sexually activeWww@Answer-Health@Com
