After surgery you are on pain medications that will constipate you so yes this is normal- your surgeon should've told you to take stool softeners!. You need to go get some until the irritation from such a large BM heals up!. There is nothing to be embarrassed about- BM's are a normal part of life for every living thing!. The blood is normal because of the size of the BM!. Good luck- you'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

trust me I know someone who had surgery then bowels were not moving for two weeks !. if you're bleeding , just mention it to your doctor or anyone who helped with your surgery !. just to assure yourself , it's a great idea !. just have fibre supplements and fruits and vegetables !. even call your doctor to know if bleeding is common for type of surgery you had !. best of luck !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, when was the last time you went #2!?

Sometimes when we have a trauma, such as surgery, to the body the bowel system will go into hibernation!.!.!.happened to me when I had a baby!. I didn't go for almost a week and when I did , well!.!.!.!.it was uncomfortable to say the least!.

Talk to your surgeon about taking a laxative to clean your system out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what kind of surgery did you have!? Anesthesia can do it, but if the surgery had anything to do with your bowels then you should see your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
