im 11 and have very hair legas and the hairs are black to !!!! all my friends shave but im just to embaressed to ask my mom!. im not to godd talking about this stuff with her so i usally go to my older sister kelsey and she is 16!. i no she cant make all my decisions so i want to go to my mom for some things!. so plzzz help me !. are their any ways i can ask my mom an when !?!?!? should i do it befor i get in the shower or in the car alone!?!?!? it soo hard!!!! plzz helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your mom is a very very valuable resource, because anything you've gone through or may go through, she's probably been there, and when you look back on the things in the future you are going to see it as silly at hte time because she will turn into your best friend as you get older!. I never thought it would be true, because i also struggled wit hthe same things, but now i even call my mom when my boyfirend is being dumb or for really personal things that i can't talk to other people about!.
If you are really nervous, talk to her in teh car!. It's a safe place because no one else is there or can walk in on the conversation!. if you feel comfortable doing it at home just say "hey mom, i was wondering when you think i could start shaving my legs" She might get a little freaked out because you are her little girl, but she will remember what it is like to be that age and go through that!. She might say to wait another year or so, and just listen to her!. Your mom loves you and wants you to have a good and happy life!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it may be hard for you to talk to your mom about these type of things, but your mom is probably used to it, especially if she has another daughter that is older than you!. I'm also sure your mom will totally understand - she is a girl and she knows what its like to NOT want to have hair on her legs!. If it makes you feel more comfortable, ask her while you are alone with her in the car!. Just say something like this, "Mom, it makes me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed to have black hair on my legs!. Can I shave them!?" you could try what i did and casually bring up the subject about that you think its about time you started shaving so maybe could you try something like veet that you leave on and then rinse off!. that worked for me for a little bit but after a while the hair becomes thicker so you'll probably have to switch to razors!. i was nervous about using them and didnt ask my mom about that, i just did it and i was fine!. then i just told her that i used them and that i was ok and i wanted to use them from then on

When I asked, it was right before I hopped in the shower, and said, "Hey mom, can I start shaving!?" But before I checked to make sure we had a new razor for me and shaving gel!. SO if you don't have any, ask her beforehand!. Or, if you are at the store, ask her on the way, or go get a razor and shaving gel and ask her if you can get it because you want to start shaving!. Do you take baths!? Or just showers!?
I would try shaving in the bath!.
Or, put on a pair or shorts, sit on the edge of the tub and ask your sister to show you proper shaving technique!.
I would at least ask her to supervise, you are using a razor and being only 11 I think supervision would be a good idea!.

i know it's hard but I'm sure you mom will understand!. Ask you sister how she talked to your mom about it!. or if your're at the grocery store in the aisle with the razors you could bring up that you be interested in trying them!. or if theres a commercial on TV mention it then!. I think u should be brave enuff now and do it!.!.!.tell her that you feel awkward with all that hair and that its time you wanna start doing it!.!.!.ASK HER to suggest to you as to how u should go about doing this!.!.!.meaning, should u shave, wax, epilate!.!.!.let it come from her, that way u have ur back covered!.!.!.but mention to her that you really want this to feel good about urself, and that u trust her to support u in this!.!.

Shaving is not a big deal at all!. You're best off buying your own razors or just start using disposable ones if that's what your family buys!. Don't try to hide anything but don't feel obligated to advertise you're shaving!. It's normal for girls to do so :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask her when you two are alone together!. If she says no then respect her decision!. My friend went behind her moms back and started shaving her legs, and her mom was so mad!. Sooner or later you'll mom will let you start!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
