Contraceptive pill?!
Question: Contraceptive pill!?
I'm 18 years old and am going on holiday with friends on the 1st of July!.
I get really heavy periods and you can't even flush toilet paper down the toilet in the hotel we are staying at!.!.!.so i highly doubt it'l flush tampons!.
Would going on the contraceptive pill work for completly stopping my period for this week!? If so have i left enough time to go on it!?
Are there any other options anyone has tried!?

Yes, you can control the timing of your period when you are on the pill!. You usually start the pill during your period, so the timing is right for you to go get a prescription now and start it!.
But !.!.!. I don't think it's a good idea!. You don't know how long it will take your body to adjust to the pill!. You could have side effects that could ruin your trip, such as extreme emotional misery!. I think it's a really bad time to experiment with it!.
For the trip, pack some opaque plastic grocery bags that you can use for your bathroom waste!. You may even want to pack some paper towels to wrap your tampons in case the toilet paper is impossibly flimsy!. It'll be a pain, but you can get through it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
