Question: Morning after pill, delayed second period!?
after a condom split i took the morning after pill correctly (the next day) i was told i could have a delayed period, but had no side effects atall and came on my period about 4 or 5 days after (when i was due to anyway) regular period!. However, it has now came to the time where my next period is due, and i am getting onto 2 weeks late, I have been using condoms since and havent taken the morning after pill again, is this normal!? thankyou!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes that is perfectly normal!. The first period usually comes shortly after taking the pill and the second one 4-8 weeks after that!. So it usually takes more than 4 weeks for the second period!. And sometimes it's heavier or lighter than usual!. The hormones in the pill make it delayed!. Most women experience this!. It's not listed in the pill information, so some women worry about pregnancy and you might like to take a test, but I'm sure you're fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
