i had a hysterectomy 2 yrs ago, i dont take my calcium like i should! can the lack of calcium make you hurt!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. Your bones density changes with the loss of estrogen!. If you cannot use milk products, calcium tablets are a good supplement!.

Brittle bones--osteoporosis--is not only painful but dangerous!. It's much easier than normal for your bones to break and there can be marked deformity!. The fractures are very slow and difficult t heal!.

There are very good preventive meds and treatments available for this disease!. If you suspect you might be developing osteoporosis, you need to visit your doctor and give him/her all symptoms soon!. (I actually heard of a new once a year IV med for osteoporosis yesterday!)
