Pls help my friend..please?!

well if the cause was pregnancy u wud no by now! so dont worry about that!. she shudnt be sexually active anyway!. i dont think its that weird!. u can take her to the doctor just for details amd to make sure but she isnt fatally sick or anything!. some people just have VERY irregular periods!. my friend got her second period after THREE years and then it started coming like every 6 months!. but its regular now!. dont let her think something is wrong with her, shes fine!. but my friend went to the doctor so i think she shud too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, if she was pregnant, you would know (besides, Feb!. 2007 is over a year ago so she would have already given birth by now)!. When you first get your period, it can be pretty irregular!. However, over a year is kind of a long time!. She may want to see a doctor about it if she's really worried!. It could have something to do with her hormones!. One of my friends' periods stopped and she didn't have one for two or three years!. When she went to the doctor, they told her it had something to do with her hormones so they gave her birth control to help with the hormones and now she's back on track!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If shes ever had a period and is sexually active, yes she can be pregnant!.
No her life isn't at stake, if she isn't sexually active or isn't pregnant, then its probably just because her period just started!.
The first few years of a girls period are very irregular especially the first couple months, she may go a couple months with out a period, and she may get two a month!. everyone is different!. But the first question is, is she having sex!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

She needs to see a doctor!.
No one on yahoo answers will know whats wrong even if they are doctors without examaining her!.
Dont worry though, its probably nothing, but dont let that stop her from going, because it could be something!.
She should atleast know whats up, even if its normal, so it is on her medical history, as it could effect her!.

for the first few years, periods will be irregular!. i am 19 and still have irregular periods!. i just got on birth control bc i have not had one in almost 3 months!. it eill eventually come!. she can always talk to her mom or an aunt and see what they think!. if she is not sexuallly active then i would assume that she is not pregnant and just has not regulated her body yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Periods are weird when you are a teen and even in the 20's sometimes!. She's probably fine!. Tell her to go to see a gyn doctor for a checkup if she's worried!. They can make sure everything is healthy!.
